Aims & Objectives

The main aims of our pre-school are as follows:

To support and enhance the development of any child in a safe, secure and stimulating environment
To ensure equality of opportunity is available to all children and families
To encourage a high quality of learning experiences in our curriculum planning through a combination of self directed play and activities, structured play, learning opportunities and flexible activities. To adapt all these experiences to meet the needs and abilities of individual children.
To provide equipment to encourage self directed play, fun and friendships with other children and adults
To appoint each child with a key worker, who will be responsible for monitoring the child’s developmental progress and to provide individual care and attention
To welcome and encourage parental involvements and work in partnership with them
To encourage an environment where adults and children care for each other and respect each others feelings
To encourage and praise children in order to enhance their self esteem
To provide consistent boundaries of acceptable behaviour and conduct

Objectives

Our main objectives are as follows:

· to continue to provide a first class service to all children

· to provide a service that matches the communities needs

· to make the service accessible to all

· to have all staff fully qualified

· to cover the six areas of learning in the outdoor area

· to keep the register full
